Join us on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for fun-filled afternoons! After School in the Garden is for 1st-5th graders who like to explore the natural world, welcome an outdoor experience after the school day, and want to watch spring unfold as they help create the garden spaces we will all enjoy later in the season. Participants will learn about tending a garden, prepare a garden bed for planting, watch seeds sprout, learn about healthy soil, and let their creative minds fly with our unique, engaging activities! A delicious, healthy snack is part of our day as well.
Los niños de primaria están invitados a unirse a nosotros en nuestro programa para aprender con la jardinería. Y incorporar jardinería, arte y juegos en el jardín cada primavera y otoño. The After-school Program starts Monday, April 22nd and ends Friday, May 31st.
After-school in the Garden is 6 weeks of fun activities from April 22nd - May 31st (except Memorial Day on 5/27). Limited to 12 participants. 3:30 - 5:30 pm on Monday and Wednesday, and 1:00-3:00 pm on Friday. Come all the days, or pick the day a week that works best for you. You may also purchase a 6 or 10-session pass. Each week will feature unique and engaging themes. The program will be held - rain or shine - at the Summit Community Gardens located at 4056 Shadow Mountain Dr, Park City, UT 84098 (off of Old Ranch Road).
