Land Acknowledgment

Summit Community Gardens and EATS acknowledges that the land on which we garden and gather is the ancestral homeland of the Ute people and that land throughout Utah is the ancestral homeland of the Ute, Shoshone, Paiute, and Goshute tribes. We recognize all indigenous people as the original stewards of this land and acknowledge that many practices used today in gardening originated from these people.

Summit Community Gardens and EATS is committed to creating a space for all people to have access to locally grown produce and a place to gather, learn, and grow at high altitudes.

Summit Community Gardens and EATS is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Our federal tax id number is 47-3560666.

We rely on the generosity of individuals and organizations to meet our goals of inspiring, empowering, and educating the community on the importance of gardening. The garden and our programs are supported by donations and grants from Alpine Distilling, BKS Family Fund of PCCF, Byrne Family Foundation Trust, Central Wasatch Commission, EquityVision, John C. Kish Foundation, KJS Family Foundation, KPCW, Firewood on Main, Hearth and Hill, Stock Family Fund, Mairi Leining, Park City Chamber of Commerce Sustainable Tourism, Park City Community Foundation, Park City Rotary, Park City Sunrise Rotary, Pendry Park City, PC Yoga Collective, Promontory Foundation, R M Buchta Charitable Fund, Rocky Mountain Power Foundation, Ray Weick, Sorenson Legacy Fund, Sotheby's Cares, Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation, Summit County RAP Cultural Tax, Summit County RAP Recreation Tax, Summit County Restaurant Tax, Youth United of PCCF, Tomilee Tilley Family Fund, Women's Giving Fund of Park City Community Foundation, Individuals through Live PC Give PC, and our Harvest Table members, and too many community gardeners to name!
