Congratulations on joining Summit Community Gardens! Welcome to our community. This Garden Handbook contains important information about how the Garden operates, and how you can get involved to make it run smoothly and efficiently. Community gardening requires work beyond tending to your plot, every gardener is asked to participate to the best of his or her ability in the management and upkeep of the Garden.

“A Week in the Life of a Gardener” focuses on our food system, using our beautiful Garden as a classroom. Each day holds opportunities for learning, art, physical activity, gardening, and food preparation. We will learn about sustainable agricultural models, regenerative soil practices, and local food systems. We will explore demonstration beds in the center of the Garden, helping with the weekly harvest for the Food Farmacy. Campers will have hands-on experiences to help understand the importance of growing and preparing their own food.
Registration opens Feb 1st for members and Mar 1st for everyone. Become a member today!
