PreK Staff Bios

Tracy Zisselsberger, MEd, AMS

Tracy Zisselsberger earned her Master of Education degree, as well as her American Montessori Society teaching credential in Lower Elementary Education from Westminster College. Prior to her graduate studies, she received an Outdoor Education and Natural Science teaching certificate from Teton Science Schools and her undergraduate degrees from the University of Vermont in Exercise and Movement Science and Kinesiology.

As a lifelong learner, Tracy has served in a variety of schools and classrooms over the past 10 years. She believes that learning, playing, and exploring the outdoors is extremely important in a child’s development and fosters a natural love and curiosity for a place. She began her teaching career in Elementary Education and continued her growth as an educator to the Early Childhood classroom in Montessori schools in the Park City area. During the school year, Tracy teaches 2nd grade at the Park City Day School. She was drawn to Park City Day School for their emphasis on Outdoor Education and hands-on, project-based learning which is integrated across subject areas.  

Tracy’s heart is with education that fosters independence, creativity, critical thinking and most importantly, a love of learning. She feels deep gratitude for the opportunity to teach at Summit Community Gardens and EATS and work with our smallest gardeners and this phenomenal garden community. She is excited to work with natural scientists and artists this summer to inspire the joy that curiosity and discovery brings to her student’s lives in the gardens.

When she’s not in the classroom, Tracy finds every possible chance to get outdoors to adventure with her dog in the mountains.

Brittney Angle

Brittney was born and raised in the desert heat of Tucson, Arizona. She attended the University of Arizona where she earned her B.A. in History and studied Spanish and Psychology. She went on to receive her elementary education certification and taught second grade in Las Vegas. Brittney loves to spend her free time with her family of four and their dogs, Reggie and Lola. Outside of teaching, Brittney enjoys helping others become the best version of themselves through health coaching. Brittney is excited to be part of the engaging and safe learning environment that celebrates students’ unique talents and ideas at PCDS.
