Our Impact, Their Words

β€œI love gardening here. Most Hispanic people in Park City live in apartments and don't have land. Growing food in this beautiful Garden makes me happy.”
~ Plot Renter, SCG-EATS

β€œRecently, my hours were cut due to the slow season. The outreach coordinators gave my daughter fruit and even shared large bags of fruit with our family. It is always appreciated because it gives us a way for our children to eat something healthy.”
~ Parent, Jeremy Ranch Elementary School

β€œExperiential learning opportunities like SCG and EATS are so important for our students. This is the only time some are exposed to delicious and nutritious new foods”
~ Teacher, Trailside Elementary

Nativescape Consultation by Basin Recreation Open Space Team
Basin Recreation is donating a 3-hour nativescape consultation for the Fall of 2025 in which the team will make a house visit, assess your landscape and resources, and teach you specialized methods in order to restore your landscape to match the native habitat where you live. To enhance the experience further, you can invite 4 friends/neighbors to this sustainable landscaping consultation. To top it off, we are donating 15 native plants grown in our local greenhouse, which will be handpicked to suit the climatic variables at your home. We will finish off the nativescape consultation by planting the native plants together with you and your friends!

Birthday Party with the SCG-EATS Education Team
What better way to celebrate coming-of-age than with a fun, educational (you don't have to tell the kids that!), interactive birthday party? Summit Community Gardens - EATS’ educators will host this seed-to-plate event in your home for up to 10 children. The prize also includes Earliest Bird Camp Registration so your little gardener will have the pick of the crop for summer camps in 2026.
