Garden Flow Yoga: Saturday

Start the weekend with socially distanced, in-person morning flow yoga with Whitney Reed. There’s hardly a better place in the area to meditate and sweat it out than when you’re surrounded by mountains and reserve land.

Classes are limited to 18 people and mats will be spread 6 feet apart. Masks are strongly suggested when entering the gardens, according to CDC guidelines.

Saturday 8:30-9:30 am
Location: Summit Community Gardens

$10-$25 donations are suggested. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Summit Community Gardens. (Thank you, Whitney!)

All About Pollinators: Q&A with Jules Angell

Tired of going to the nursery, spending money on beautiful plants only to find that your garden hasn’t gone the way you wanted it to?

In this walk through the garden presentation and Q&A session, SCG resident beekeeper and gardener Jules Angell will talk about pollinators, what they do and how to maximize their utility in your garden.

You are going to learn what Native plants you can plant that will not only brighten up your yard but brighten up your smile when they use less water, come back year after year and encourage pollinators to make your yard, the most happening yard on the block! Deer resistant does not mean deer-proof.

Instructor: Jules Kaufman Angell

Tuesday, May 19th 5:30pm
Location: Zoom
$30 for Community Gardeners with an SCG plot in 2019; $35 for all other Community Gardeners.
